A full days hire can start from 9:30am (from March to October) and finish 17:30.
When does a half day start?
Our half day rate comences after 13:00. Any hire before this time will be charged for a full day.
What do I get for my hire?
We provide an accessory pack with each rental (not per bike) including a puncture repair kit, pump, multi tool and spanner and a lock.
Helmets are offered to each rider.
Do I have to wear a helmet?
We provide a helmet with each bike and we STRONGLY RECCOMEND everyone wears one!!
However, under current UK law - it is your responsibility to stay safe on the roads and obay the highway code, which currently does not make helmet use manditory.
How far do you deliver?
Strictly a 10 mile radius from Far Peak GL543AP. Any further distances are not practical for us to deliver I'm afraid - but you could always hop in the car and ride from Far Peak?
What if I cannot make it back?
Unfortunately, we are strictly prohibited from offering a taxi service back to base (due to insurance constraits).
You are responsible for returning the bikes within the allotted hire period. If you cannot make the deadline, you may be charged for the additional hire period until the bikes are returned safely.
If you decide to leave the bikes and we have to collect them, you remain responsible for them until we can collect and you will be charged for the additional time period needed to arrange collection (this could be upto 72 hours). An additional collection fee of £50 (within 10 miles) or £100 (over 10 mile radius) will be added to your hire.
